Step One:
Send your metadata, URL link preferred.
Email to: [email protected]
We will import your metadata in order to generate your campus specific metadata link.
Step Two:
We will send back your custom 3rd Millennium metadata link in the following format:
https://sso.3rdmil.com/realms/students/broker/University%20Example/endpoint/descriptor
We will also provide one of the following types of links for you to test prior to your launch date.
Option 1: SSO Link = Student Login, Preferred
This SSO student login link will follow this format with the addition of your campus specific identifier at the end of the link similar to this:
account.3rdmil.com/sso?id=XXXXX
Option 2: SSO Link = Course Enrollment + Student Login
If your campus administrator has opted for the feature that the SSO link will also generate the student enrollment as well as be used as the login link, your SSO link will include a suffix that enrolls users in their course or courses. The link will look similar to this:
account.3rdmil.com/sso?id=123GUID4567&Control_Number=XXXXX
Note:
If troubleshooting is necessary, please send any available SAML logs, network activity logs, or error message screenshots to [email protected]. We will investigate the issue and ask you to retest.
If permitted, please provide our development team with a test user during the troubleshooting phase. This will speed any error resolution process along significantly.
